Welcoming a New Year.

Will this year be a productive one for cities and citizens around the world? Will a 'post-crisis' world economy emerge--stronger, more inclusive, more sustainable, and more inventive? Have our faults been debated and understood, have humble lessons been learned? Or, have biased agendas simply grown more battle-hardened? Has a crisis been wasted?
