  1. stunning. or not stunning, but just as strong. stunning in an everyday sense, everyday things that i would have hardly noticed but are actually stunning. of course all photography extracts the visual from a world full of audio, and is essentially silent. but usually the sound is still present in the image, whereas these photos are so intimate that the noise of the subway seems to hardly exist.
